Discharge

Discharge printing is becoming a popular technique. With this process a transparent ink is printed that deactivates the dye in 100% cotton fabric. This special agent essentially bleaches out the dyed pigment color of shirts, leaving behind the color of the natural fibers. Discharge produces an extremely soft hand and unique vintage look customers love.

Direct discharge will leave the natural off white color of the shirt when printing your design. Dye discharge printing uses water base pigments that when printed leave the pigment color behind after discharging the shirt color. Discharge printing can only be done on 100% cotton shirts and is limited to specific brands with better results on certain shirt colors.
